6.1 C <br />Page 4 <br />Should alterations be required, any change to the parade route and festival <br />area locations will be determined under the supervision and approval of the <br />Police Chief or his designee. <br />5. Dates and Times: The parade, festival, fun run, car show and fireworks <br />display shall be conducted on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. The parade line-up <br />and staging area shall be reserved between 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The <br />parade route shall be reserved from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The start time of <br />the "Fun Run" will be 9:00 AM and the parade will begin at 10:00 AM. The <br />car show area shall be reserved from 5:00 AM until 5:00 PM and will run <br />from 8:00 AM until approximately 4:30 PM. The fireworks display wiU begin <br />at 9:30 PM and conclude at approximately 10:00 PM. <br />The festival closure shall begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 and <br />continue through 8:00 PM on Wednesday, Juiy 4~', 2007. This event shall be <br />conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, Juiy 4th. <br />6. Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage far any and al! activities permitted hereunder in the <br />amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming <br />the City, its City Council, commissions, committees, boards, officers, <br />employees, and agents (collectively, the "City-insureds") as insureds or <br />additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered as additional insureds, <br />the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy which shall provide <br />that: (i} said insurance shall be primary insurance with respect to the City- <br />insureds, {ii) apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made <br />or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's liability <br />(cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City-insureds as additional <br />insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such insurance coverage in a <br />form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of <br />the event. <br />7. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br />costs of any damages to City-owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br />areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permitted <br />hereunder; or the acts or omissions to act of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, <br />including the public right-of--way in connection with said event, shall be <br />removed immediately following said event. <br />8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and taws in connection with the conducting of <br />said event or any and all activities associated therewith. This permit shall be <br />in addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this <br />event, or any associated activity.
