The PCA will sponsor the <br />following events: <br />1. The Invitational Parade <br />2. The Arts & Crafts Festival <br />3. The Fireworks Display at the Port of Redwood City. <br />The following organizations will sponsor and conduct separate events as part of the overall July 4~' Celebration <br />activities: <br />4. Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Fun Run along the parade route <br />before the parade <br />5. Let's Tallc Events will hold a car show on Broadway, between Jefferson and Main. <br />1. The invitational Parade <br />The parade will begin at 10:00 AM. A cannon shot at the intersection of Veterans Blvd and Middlefield Road <br />will announce the start of the parade. The parade may include decorated floats, marching bands, drill teams, <br />vintage and/or municipal vehicles, equestrian units, civic officials, invited guests, participating sponsors, and <br />other entries as approved by the PCA. The parade organizers may, at their discretion, limit the entries in any <br />category. <br />The Parade Route will be defined as starting at Winslow St. and Brewster Ave. proceeding to Veterans <br />Blvd., turning right into the South bound lanes of Veterans blvd. to Main St., turning right onto Main St. <br />to Marshall St., proceeding on Marshall St. to Arguello St., turning right onto Arguello St. and <br />terminating at Alden Street. <br />The Parade Lineup Area is defined by the following streets: <br />Arguello St. from Whipple Ave. to Brewster Ave. <br />Warren St. from Whipple Ave. to Marshall St. <br />Allerton St. from Whipple Ave. to Winslow St. <br />Winslow St. from Howland St. to Marshall St.. <br />PCA July 4, 2007 Page 1 of 10 Revised 5/3/2007 <br />
