MALTBIE <br />caUNT~ a~ ~J~~ M:.~.~eEO a ~o~~BO~ <br />COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER • 455 COUNTY CENTER, 5TH FLOOR • REDWOOD CITY CALIFORNIA 940&3.1663 <br />wa:a PAGEAODRESS:httpJ/wwW.co.sanmafeo.ca.us (65U) 363-+1328 • FAX: (650) 363-4832 <br />May 15, 2flfl7 <br />Ed Evereft, City Manager <br />City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middieffetd Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />RE: Consent to Assignment of Easement over a portion of APN: 052-367-f?10 to <br />Redwood City Redevelopment Agency for the Courthouse Square <br />Dear Ed: <br />To assist the City with its efforts to fi(I the Pavilion Concession spaces at Courthouse <br />Square, the County of San Mateo hereby consents to an assignment to the City of <br />Redwood City Redevelopment Agency of the City's easement rights to the four <br />concession spaces that are now a part of the Easement granted by the County to the <br />City pursuant to that certain Cooperative Agreement dated May 3, 2005, recorded May <br />23, 2005 and approved by Resolution No. 067'288, as amended by the First Amendment <br />("Cooperative Agreement"). <br />This consent does net in anyway relieve the City, or any person or entity claiming under <br />or through the City from performing those obifgations as set forth in paragraphs14.1, <br />14.2, 14.3 and 14.4 of the Cooperative Agreement, or from compliance with the terms, <br />covenants and conditions of the Cooperative Agreement, including but not limited to the <br />delivery of any documents or recardabie instruments required by such assignment. <br />The County continues to support the enhancement of the Courthouse and the <br />Courthouse Square project.
