This class is distinguished €rom the c{ass a# <br /> Water Conservation Specialist by its responsibi{ity for the recycled water cross-cannection <br /> prograrr� and for the recyclecf water sites' monitoring program. <br /> SUPERVISfON RECEiVED AND EXERCISED <br /> Genera! directian is provided by a Public Works Services Supervisor. <br /> Respansibilities include functional and technical leadership and assisting in the performance <br /> evdluaiian of empi�yees in thE Recycted Water Prog�am. <br /> EXAMPLES pF iMPORTANT AND ESSENTlAL DUTIES <br /> Duties may include, but are not limited to the fo(lowing: <br /> 1. Review plans and specificattons for comp[iance with Ci#y and regu(atory agencies <br /> standards. <br /> 2. Oversee the construction of site retrofit plans and instailation work and connection to the <br /> recycled wa#er sysfem; conduct site inspecFions and oversee coverage test. <br /> 3. Monitor or perForm work associated with testing backflow devices and cross-conne�tion <br /> prevention and testing, as required. <br /> 4. Perform customer outreach inctuding notification, coo�-dination and schedufing of new <br /> connections, cross-connection t�sting and resolves a11 customer compEain#s conc�rning <br /> the recycied systern. <br />
