6.2C <br /> Page 3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTtON OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RE�WOOD CfTY, <br /> REQUESTiNG AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY CONTROLLER TO <br /> LEVY THE BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS F�JR FY 2007 2008 FOR THE <br /> SEAPORT CENTRE WfAINT�NANCE DISTRi�T AND AUTHaRIZtN� TH� <br /> COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT SUCH ASSESSMENTS. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CfTY UF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> �IUHEREAS, on July 11, 2005, voters in the Seaport Centre Maintenance District <br /> (the "District") approved, by a vo#e of 80% yes to 20% no, the levy of a speciai tax, the <br /> amount of such tax to be annually adjusted under the 5-year budget as specifed in the <br /> City Manager's and City Engineer's Reports, heretofore approved by Resalution No. <br /> 14643 adopted May 23, 2405 on each non-exempt parcel of land in the disfirict; and <br /> WHEREAS, the maximum benefit assessment for fiscal year 2047-2008 is <br /> $187,Q00.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, the District has the need of the services o# the offices of the San <br /> Mateo County Controller and Tax CoNector in levying and coliecting the special tax; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, tT iS HEREBY DETERMINEO AND ORDERED AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 'i.
