6.2C <br /> Page 5 <br /> RESOLUTlON NO. <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCfL OF THE CtTY OF REDWQOD CtTY, <br /> REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZ(NG THE COUNTY CONTROLLER TO <br /> LEVY THE BENEFfT ASSESSMENTS FOR FY 2007-2Q08 FOR THE <br /> SEAPORT BOULEVARD i,.ANDSCAPE MAtNTENANCE L}tSTRICT AND <br /> AUTH4RIZlNG THE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO C�LLECT SUCH <br /> ASSESSRAENTS. <br /> BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CtTY COUNCiL aF THE CtTY QF REDWOOD <br /> ClTY, CALIF4RNIA AS FOLL4WS: <br /> WHEREAS, on July 19, 2005, vaters of the Seaport Bvulevard Landscape <br /> Maintenance District (the "District") approved, by a vote of 10(}% yes �0 0% no, the levy <br /> of a special tax, the amounts of such tax to be annually adjusted under the 5-year <br /> budget as specified in the City Manager's and City Engineer's Reports, heretofore <br /> approved by Resolution No. 14644 adopted May 23, 2005 on each nan-exempt parcel <br /> ofi land in the district; and <br /> WHEREAS, the maximum benefit assessment for fiscal year 2006-2007 is <br /> $212,500.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Disfrict has the need of the services of the offices of the San <br /> Mafieo County Controiler and Tax Collector in levying and collecting the speciai tax; and <br /> NOW, TFlEREFORE, iT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Ci#y Counc7 of the City of Redwaod City hereby respectfuliy requests <br /> and authorizes the San Mateo County Tax Control#er to incEude individuat tax <br /> assessments in the County tax t�ills €or the fiscal year 2007-2QQ8 in accordance with <br /> the ciocuments supptied by the District and authorizes the San Mafeo Gounty Tax <br /> Atty/Reso/Reso. 1720 � <br /> 061207 <br />
