6.2C <br /> Page 7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTiON OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF REDWQOD CITY, <br /> REQUESTIN� AND AUTHt}RIZING THE COUNTY CONTROLLER TO <br /> LEVY THE BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS FOR FY 2Q07-20p8 FOR THE <br /> �2EDWOOD SHORES LANDSCAPE MAtNTENANCE DtSTRiCT NO. <br /> 1995-1 AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO <br /> COLLECT SUCH ASSESSMENTS. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C�UNCIL OF THE CtTY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, CALIF4RNIA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, on July 28, 1997, vaters of the Redwoad Shores Landscape <br /> Main#enance District 1995-1 (the "District"} approved, by a vote af 89.4% yes to 1�.6% <br /> no, the ievy of a special #ax, the amounts of such tax to be annual(y caiculated in <br /> accordance with the formula set forth in the City Manager's and City Engineer's <br /> Reports, her�tofore approved by Resolufiion No. 131D7 �dopt�d Jun� 9, 1997, and <br /> con�rmed by F�esol�tion No. 13377 adopted June 29, 1998, on each non-exempt parce! <br /> af land in the distric#; and <br /> WHEREAS, the maximum benefit assessment for fiscal year 2Q07-2008 is <br /> $'I84,205.26; and <br /> WHEREAS, the District has the need of the services of the o�ces of the San <br /> Mateo County Controller and Tax Collectar in levying and collecting the special tax. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINE� AND ORDERED AS <br /> FOLLOW�: <br /> 1.
