the Suburban Pumhasers as a result of overcharges for water purchases based, <br />in turn, upon the overcharges of taxes paid by San Francisco; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the methodology by which the aggregate amount to be <br />rebated to the Suburban Purchasers collectively ($4,308,503.08), and the <br />amount to be rebated to the City of Redwood City individually ($261,705.05), is <br />set forth on Attachments A-1 and A-2 to the Acknowledgment of Receipt and <br />Release of All Claims hereinafter referenced; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed, and desires to approve, said <br /> <br />Acknowledgment and Receipt and Release of All Claims; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain Acknowledgment of Receipt and Release of All Claims <br />relating to a rebate to the City of Redwood City from San Francisco under the <br />Water Supply Contract and the Master Agreement for overpayment of wholesale <br />water charges resulting from overpayment by San Francisco of taxes as <br />determined by the decision in City and County of San Francisco v.
