<br />6.1L <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />ADDENDUM No.1 <br />FOR <br />AGREEMENTFORSER~CEBE~EEN <br />THE REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />This addendum to the August 31, 2006 contract between the Redwood City <br />School District and the City of Redwood City is effective June 28, 2007. <br /> <br />Effective February 1, 2007 the California Department of Education increased <br />current After School Education and Safety (ASES) grants award amounts as a <br />result of Proposition 49. In addition, the City of Redwood City has transferred <br />fiscal agency of two grants from the City to the Redwood City School District <br />effective May 15, 2007. This was done to better coordinate and manage after <br />school funding by having the Redwood City School District be the fiscal agent for <br />all grants. As a result of these changes the contract for services between the <br />Redwood City School District and the City of Redwood City will increase from <br />$234,738 to $630.316, an increase of $395,578. In addition the contract will be <br />amended to include provision of after school programming at Taft and Hoover <br />Schools. <br /> <br />The new total contract amount for payment to the City of Redwood City should <br />not exceed $630,316. <br /> <br />Agencies will continue to abide by all mandated statutes stipulated in the <br />previously approved contract. <br /> <br />City of Redwood City authorized representative Date <br /> <br />Raul Panmgao, Chief Business Official <br />Redwood City School District <br /> <br />Date <br />
