<br />Recommendation: <br />Approve by motion a new fifteen-year agreement (July 1, 2007 through June 30, <br />2022) between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for Fire <br />Protection Services for Fire Protection Sub-Zone of San Mateo County Service Area <br />No. 8 (CSA-8). CSA-8 is located in the unincorporated area of North Fair Oaks. <br />Fire protection services include response and prevention activities. <br /> <br />I. Agreement Designating San Mateo Community College District as Lead Agency for <br />Canada College Faculty/Staff Housing Project <br /> <br />Staff contact: Jill Ekas, Planning Manager 780-7298 jekas@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve by motion an agreement designating the San Mateo Community College <br />District as Lead Agency for the purpose of conducting environmental review of their <br />proposed faculty/staff housing project at the Canada College campus in accordance <br />with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Attachment 1). The City of <br />Redwood City, as well as the Town of Woodside and the San Mateo County Local <br />Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) will act as Responsible Agencies. <br /> <br />J. Rejection of Bids - Lakeview Pump Stations Improvements Project <br /> <br />Staff Contact: Jimmy Tan, P.E., Associate Engineer 780-7397 jtan@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Reject, by motion, all bids for the Lakeview Pump Stations Improvements Project, <br />direct the return of all bid securities, and authorize the re-design of the project and <br />re-advertisement for bidding purposes. <br /> <br />K. 4th of July Parking <br /> <br />Staff contact: Dan Zack, Downtown Development Coordinator 780-7363 dzack@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the suspension of parking meter rates in the Downtown area on <br />July 4,2007. <br /> <br />L.
