DES:d~% 03/13/97 (066/42) <br /> <br /> o R I G I N A L 3/17/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13030 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES <br /> PARKWAY WIDENING PROJECT - PHASE I, DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> BID SECURITY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF <br /> REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROJECT, AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12999 adopted February <br />10, 1997, this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the <br />Redwood Shores Parkway Widening Project - Phase I; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, six bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that THE bid documents <br />require revision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to exercise its reserved right <br />to reject all bids and to direct preparation of revised plans and <br />specifications for the Project and to authorize and direct the <br />City Clerk to readvertise for bids for the work therein <br />described; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. All bids received in response to advertisement for bids <br />made pursuant to Resolution No. 12999, adopted February 10, 1997, <br />for the Redwood Shores Parkway Widening Project - Phase I are, <br />and each of them hereby is, rejected, the City Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to return to each bidder the bid security <br />furnished by said bidders in accordance with the Instructions to <br />Bidders for said improvement, and the Director of Community <br /> <br /> <br />
