The remaining portion of Laurel
Way, extending westerly and then northerly is unimproved and
allows passage for but a single vehicle at a time. Except for that
portion improved to City standards, Laurel Way is a private road
(including that portion paved to a one -half width of a standard
street).
b. Laurel Way is located on uneven, steep terrain. The average
slopes of undeveloped lots fronting on Laurel Way range from 21
percent to 64 percent.
c. A plat of Laurel Way, showing improved and unimproved lots
fronting thereon, is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and by this
reference incorporated herein. References herein to street
numbers correspond to the lots so numbered on Exhibit A.
d. In 1971, assessment district proceedings were instituted for the
improvement of Laurel Way. Those proceeding were terminated
upon opposition by some of the landowners to be assessed.
Pursuant to those proceedings, plans for the construction of street
and associated utility improvements were prepared entitled, "Laurel
Way Improvement Unit No. 2," dated 9/13/71 (the "Improvement
Plans "), which Plans are on file in the office of the City Engineer.
Reso -1057 2
fAshared %redwood\cou ncil
DES:rg
12/11 /00; 1 2/20/OOR
14111
