0 R I G I N A L 2/24/97 <br /> '-RESOLUTION NO. 13021 '--' <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF THE REDWOOD CITY ALMANAC FOR OFFICIAL <br /> ADVERTISING; DESIONATING SAID NEWSPAPER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br />City, proposals were solicited from all newspapers of general circulation in the City for the <br />publication of all matters of the City required to be published; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Almanac which has been adjudicated as a newspaper of <br />general cimulation and which has its principal office of publication located in Redwood City, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder responding to said solicitation for bids; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City Almanac as the official <br /> <br /> newspaper of the city of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The proposal of the Redwood City Almanac submitted in response to the advertisement <br /> for bids for designation as the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> designation. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the bid of said Redwood City Almanac are hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The Redwood City Almanac is hereby designated as the official newspaper of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 4. Any and all other bids for official advertising for the City of Redwood City are hereby <br /> rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
