This year, the ride will again raise funds for "San Mateo
County Parks & Recreation Foundation" - established in 1998 to financially support the
recreational, environmental and educational programs and projects of the San Mateo
County Parks and Recreation Division.

Saint Peter's is only a few blocks from the start! finish area (at Sequoia High School).
This means that the riders will be in tight groups (we meter out the start so it's not too
jammed), and pass relatively quickly beginning at 8:30 AM. They will pass by a second
time a few hours later, just before they finish. This will be at the end of a 33-mile ride
(or 17, Or 22 miles, if they take one of the short cuts). By then, the riders win have
spread out, and will not cause significant traffic delays. It would be advisable to be
aware that lots of cyclists are on the road, however between about 10:15 AM & Noon.

There will be NO PARKING on both sides of Brewster from Broadway to Alameda de
las Pulgas thatmoming. We will plan to again place cones with CHURCH PARKING
QNL Y signs along the two blocks on Ginion between Brewster and Whipple early
Sunday moming. This worked really well last year. I hope that the reserved parking
and this advance notice will help in planning for parking and arrival to church Sunday
August 5, 2007.

If you have any questions or commentr;, please don't hesitate to call me at 415-759-2690.

Sincerely,

Nancy Nobriga
Operations Director

1417Ir:ving Street.
