Tour de Peninsula. · Sunda.y, August 5, 2007 <br /> <br />To Whom It May Concern, <br /> <br />I am. writing to inform you of this year's date for Tour de Peninsula to be held on <br />Sunday, August 5, 2007. This year, the ride will again raise funds for "San Mateo <br />County Parks & Recreation Foundation" - established in 1998 to financially support the <br />recreational, environmental and educational programs and projects of the San Mateo <br />County Parks and Recreation Division. <br /> <br />Your Fellowship is only a few blocks from the start/ finish area (at Sequoia High <br />School). This means that the riders will be in tight groups (we meter out the start so it's <br />not too jammed), and pass relatively quickly beginning at 8:30 AM. They will pass by a <br />second time a few hours later1 just before they finish. This will be at the end of a 33- <br />mile ride (or 17/ Or 22 miles, if they take one of the short cuts). By then, the riders will <br />have spread out, and will not cause any traffic delays. It would be advisable to be <br />aware that lots of cyclists are on the road, however between about 10:15 AM & Noon. <br /> <br />There will be NO PARKING on both sides of Brewster from Broadway to Alameda de <br />las Pulgas that morning.
