Direct the City Attorney to prepare impartial <br />analysis with respect to the proposed Charter amendments. <br />Authorize Council Members to sign ballot arguments in favor of the <br />proposed Charter amendments. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 9A (308) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on July 9, 2007. <br /> <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Hartnett, Ira, Vice Mayor Foust and Mayor <br />Pierce <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Howard <br /> <br />The following motions were made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />MIS Foust/Aguirre to (1) Adopt a resolution authorizing submission of certain <br />specified amendments to the Redwood City Charter to the voters of the City of <br />Redwood City at the Consolidated General Municipal Election of November 6, <br />2007; (2) Direct the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis with respect to <br />the proposed Charter amendments; (3) Authorize Council Members Hartnett <br />and Ira to sign the ballot arguments in favor of the proposed Charter <br />amendments; and, (4) Continue the Ad Hoc City Charter Committee. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />, .,.... <br /><- /.
