0 R I G I N A L 2/24/97 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13013 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF <br /> SANTA CLARA AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES <br /> <br /> ("Weatherization" Program) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo <br />Counties ("Contractor") conducts a free food distribution program for Iow income <br />and elderly residents of the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />install '~veatherization" improvements at its food distribution facility during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood city has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eight Thousand and No/100 Dollars <br />($8,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-125 <br />FXS/fs <br />02/05/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
