ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT <br />COUNCILIIREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD: <br /> <br />CALENDAR <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />Mitch Roselli stated that on Friday, June 15, his neighbor's granddaughter was struck <br />by a car while crossing the street. He asked Council for consideration of painting <br />crosswalks at the corners of Hopkins Avenue at Iris and Jeter Streets. He stated that <br />the closest painted crosswalks are at King Street and Hopkins Avenue, and at Hopkins <br />Avenue and Hudson Street. Due to the fast traveling cars on Hopkins he stated that the <br />stop signs could be helpful in slowing down traffic. <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce thanked Mitch Roselli and referred the topic to the City Manager. <br /> <br />Nancy Radcliffe thanked the Council for the downtown stating that the Downtown <br />Business Group is working with the PCA to enlarge the 4th of July celebration. There will <br />be activities on the 800 block of Main Street after the parade that includes bands, <br />popcorn for sale, mom's apple pie, face painting, fire trucks, cake walk, watermelon <br />feed contest, and the grand finale raffle for one year of free parking. The event begins <br />after the parade, from noon to 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Howard to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by <br />title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. The motion <br />passed by a unanimous roll call vote with Item 6.1.1 removed for separate <br />consideration. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions - <br /> <br />A. Approve the Special City Council meeting minutes of June 18, 2007 as submitted. <br />MINUTE ORDER 07-103 <br />B. Amendment No. 2 to the Cooperative Agreement with the Department of <br />Transportation for the Route 101 at Ralston/Marine Parkway Interchange <br />Project <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, Amendment NO.2 to the Cooperative Agreement with the <br />California Department of Transportation (CaITrans) for the construction of the Route <br />101/Ralston Avenue/Marine Parkway Interchange Reconfiguration Project, and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute the same. MINUTE ORDER 07-104 <br /> <br />C.
