0 R I G I N A L -2/24/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13006 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWENTY-FOUR (24) PERSONAL COMPUTERS; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of twenty-four (24) personal computers for the Department of <br />Community Development Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication ten bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Infogold American Multimedia Systems of Milpitas, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to accept the bid of Infogold American Multimedia Systems; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Infogold American Multimedia Systems, in the total amount <br />of Forty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety and 44/100 Dollars ($46,790.44), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated February 3, 1997 for <br />the sale of twenty-four (24) personal computers, which bid is on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said computers to the City. <br /> <br /> Reso-139 <br /> DES:djk <br /> 02/10/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
