ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> 2/10/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13002 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR GEOTECHNICAL OBSERVATION AND <br /> TESTING SERVICES RELATING TO THE SANDPIPER PARK <br /> SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> (LOWNEY ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the Belmont School District <br />propose to construct a community center and elementary school at Sandpiper <br />Park in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood City and <br />the Belmont School District require professional geotechnical observation and <br />testing services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lowney Associates of Mountain View, California, represents <br />that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid <br />services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Geotechnical <br />Observation and Testing Services (Sandpiper Park Project)" (form dated <br />01/28/97), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California, and Lowney Associates, for the performance of the <br />above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br /> <br /> <br />
