L <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L - 1/27/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12987 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TWO <br /> (2) "RIDE-ON" LAWN MOWERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the purchase of two (2) "ride-on" lawn mowers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, four bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Turf and Industrial Equipment of Santa Clara, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder (meeting the City's requirements), and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Turf and Industrial <br />Equipment; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment for the sale of two (2) "ride- <br /> <br />on" lawn mowers to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Nineteen <br />Thousand Eight Hundred None and 75/100 Dollars ($19,809.75) in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated November 14, 1996, is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder (meeting the <br />City's requirements) in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for <br />said equipment. <br /> <br /> 2.
