DES:d 12/17/96 (062/42) <br />0 R I G I N A L - 1/6/97 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 12981 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br />REDWOOD SHORES SEWER PUMP STATION #2 REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT <br />(METCALF & EDDY) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to rehabilitate <br />the Redwood Shores Sewer Pump Station #2 in the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br />City requires professional engineering and design services; and <br />WHEREAS, Metcalf & Eddy of Palo Alto, California represents <br />that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to <br />perform the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br />Engineering Services - Redwood Shores Sewer Pump Station #2 <br />Rehabilitation Project" (form dated 12/17/96), by and between the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California and Metcalf & Eddy, for the performance of the <br />above - mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
