0 R I G I N A L 12/09/96 <br /> -- RESOLUTION NO. 12962 -- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF A RADIO <br /> STATION/REPEATER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this <br /> <br />Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code <br />of the City of Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter <br />described pumhase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department requires replacement of a radio <br />station/repeater located on top of the Oracle building for proper radio <br />transmission coverage in the Redwood Shores area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of said radio <br />station/repeater in an amount not to exceed Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred <br /> <br />Five and 59/100 Dollars ($14,805.59); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of a radio station/repeater <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City from Motorola Corporation of San Mateo, California <br />in an amount not to exceed Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Five and 59/100 <br />Dollars ($14,805.59). <br /> <br /> 2.
