<br />CalTrain/Samtrans Director of Rail Transportation Engineering and <br />Construction Bob Doty gave the presentation on the 2025 Plan. (PowerPoint <br />Presentation on file) <br /> <br />Council Members asked various questions related to the speed and journey <br />time, compliance with bicycle and ADA requirements, and whether additional <br />stops would be included in the future plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Hartnett explained the vision and challenges. <br /> <br />8. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />A. Fiscal Year 2007/2008 Budget <br /> <br />Director of Finance and Financial Planning Ponty gave the background leading up <br />to the proposed budget adoption. <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> <br />M/S Bainllra to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a unanimous <br />voice vote by those present with Council Member Howard absent <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Ira/Aguirre to approve a resolution adopting the FY 2007/08 budget. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 14793 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE FINAL <br />BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2007 - JUNE <br />30,2008; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS <br />SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, <br />TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND <br />REAPPROPRIA TIONS OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; ADOPTING THE BUDGET <br />FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2007- <br />JUNE 30, 2008; AND MAKING PROVISION FOR INTERIM EXPENDITURES AS OF JULY <br />1,2007. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present with Council <br />Member Howard absent. <br /> <br />B.
