It includes the options related to the Planning staff funding sources alignment <br />and the code enforcement for Redevelopment Area position. <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce opened the public hearing. Introduction of Ordinance No. adding Article VIII to Chapter 32 of the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code with respect to a Communication Users Tax. <br />Adoption of resolution authorizing submission of Ordinance No. adding <br />Article VIII to Chapter 32 of the Redwood City Municipal Code with respect to a <br />Communication Users Tax to the voters of the City of Redwood City at the <br />Consolidated General Municipal Election of November 6, 2007. Direct the City <br />Attorney to prepare impartial analysis with respect to Ordinance No. <br />Authorize Council Members to sign ballot arguments in favor of Ordinance No. <br /> <br />Director of Finance and Financial Planning Ponty gave the background explaining <br />that after study by the Utilities Committee and upon direction from Council at the <br />June 25 budget study session, staff is returning with a recommendation.
