Even with a commitment from Gov. <br />Arnold Schwarzenegger to "blue penciJ>> (delete) certain line items to reduce the operating deficit <br />(a request made by the Republican Caucus), SB nand SB 78 still were not able to gamer the <br />votes necessary to move forward.
