DES:djk 10/07/96 (056/42) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12949 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) COMBINATION VACTOR SEWER AND STORM DRAIN <br /> CLEANING TRUCK UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF BRISBANE PURCHASE ORDER NO. <br /> 01119 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Brisbane, Purchase Order No. 01119 <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other <br />public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from GCS <br />Western Power and Equipment of Sacramento, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid purchase order of the City of <br />Brisbane conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code <br />Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) combination vactor sewer and storm drain <br />cleaning truck from GCS Western Power and Equipment pursuant to <br />the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Brisbane <br /> <br />Purchase Order No. 01119; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) <br /> <br /> 12949 <br /> <br /> <br />
