ANNUAL ACTiON PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> �►iVD Fif3C�3E tNVESTMENT PARTNERSH{P PROGFiAiVfS—FY 2t30T-2E30$ <br /> Pat Webb, Housing and Economic Development Manager, stated that this is the third <br /> year ot ihe five year Consolidaied Plan which goes from 2005 to 201 fl. Staff is asking <br /> that the Pfanning Commission concur that the Plan conforms to the General Plan and to <br /> recommend approval of the plan to the City Cauncil, which is scheduled for City Council <br /> on May 7'�. Staff needs to mest the May 15'� deadline to United States Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD). <br /> Staff received the annual allocation from HUD for CDSG and HOME investment <br /> partnership money. There are a number of Housing activities and she included a few <br /> examples. The City's strategy is to target funds which will integrate a continuum of <br /> activities ranging from hamekess assistance to Economic deveEopment and permanent <br /> housing.
