Seq uoia Hospita I <br /> Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) <br /> All significant impacts identified in the Draft EIR (transportation, noise, air <br /> quality (during construction), biological resources and hydrology and water <br /> quality) can be reduced to less than significant impacts with proposed <br /> mitigation measures, except for the following transportation impacts: <br /> ■ Three significant unavoidable roadway intersection impacts remain: <br /> 1. Alamenda de las Pulgas and Edgewood Road <br /> 2. I-280 Northbound Ramp and Edgewood Road and <br /> 3. EI Camino Real and Whipple Avenue - 5.1 seconds delay, LOS E <br /> • Sequoia to install an Emergency Vehicle Pre-Emption System at signal to <br /> reduce emergency vehicle delays. <br /> • Sequoia to pay 'fair share' contribution to new receiving lane to allow a <br /> "free" westbound right turn from Whipple to northbound EI Camino. This will <br /> mitigate the project impact in the PM peak hour but is subject to Caltrans <br /> approval and so mitigation is not assured. <br />
