DES:dju 10/18/96 (054/42) <br /> <br /> ~ O R I G I N a L -- 10/28/96 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12944 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF A 4 STATION FOLDER <br /> INSERTER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Department requires the purchase of a <br />4 station folder inserter to replace the existing utility bill <br />envelope inserting equipment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of <br />said 4 station folder inserter in an amount not to exceed Twenty- <br />six Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-three and No/100 Dollars <br />($26,223.00); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of a 4 <br />station folder inserter to the City of Redwood City from Friden- <br />Neopost of Hayward, California in an amount not to exceed Twenty- <br />six Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-three and No/100 Dollars <br />($26,223.00). <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br />authorized herein (in form approved by the City Attorney) for and <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
