08/27/2007 Single-Story Structures Adjacent Residential Neighborhoods to Hospital-"Public and Quasi-Public. " WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendations of the Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing on August 27, 2007, duly noticed and held for said proposed amendments, finds that the proposed amendments are in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance and desires to amend the General Plan in the manner proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. 2. That the General Plan is hereby amended to change the General Plan designation of the real properties generally located within the North Main Street Precise Plan area, as shown on the attached Exhibit "A," which is incorporated herein by this reference, from "Commercial-Office Park" to "Commercial-Office-Mixed Use- Residential. " 3. That the General Plan is hereby amended to change the General Plan designation of the real properties generally located within the Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan Area "A", as shown on the two maps attached as Exhibit "B," which is incorporated herein by this reference, from Hospital-"Commercial Office - Single-Story Structures Adjacent Residential Neighborhoods to Hospital-"Public and Quasi-Public." 4.
