8/27/2007 ATTACHMENT 4 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 14803 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE SEQUOIA HOSPITAL PRECISE PLAN WHEREAS, on December 2, 2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Ordinance No. 1130-315, to permit the creation of Planned Community Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act regulations, on July 17, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City adopted a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan (the "Precise Plan"); and WHEREAS, on July 17, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Precise Plan; and WHEREAS, on July 17, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to the City Council that the real properties currently zoned as Professional Office (PO) zoning district (properties identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 058-060-080, -100, -110, -140, and -150, and 058-040-090) and as Single Family Residential (R-1 and R-10) zoning districts (properties identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 058-060-020, -030, - 040, -160, 058-040-060, and 058-102-110) be rezoned to Planned Community (P) zoning district; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City has reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission as to the Precise Plan, and has considered evidence received at a duly notice public hearing related thereto. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOllOWS: Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. That the Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan dated August 2007, that was presented to the City Council at their meeting on August 27, 2007, was filed and Atty/Reso/Reso.1739 082207 147803 Muff # 613
