Exhibit A <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Valentine <br /> Fitness Director <br /> Pacific Athletic Club <br />200 Redwood Shores Parkway <br /> Redwood City, CA 94065 <br /> <br /> Re: Pacific Athletic Club's "Fifth Annual Turkey Trot" <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Valentine: <br /> <br />The City Council on XXXXX, 1996, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the <br />Pacific Athletic Club's "Fifth Annual Turkey Trot" in Redwood City, subject to and in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions herein. (Resolution #XXXXX) <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to the Pacific Athletic Club (hereinafter called <br />"Permittee") to conduct the "Fifth Annual Turkey Trot". <br /> <br />This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The "FifthAnnual Turkey Trot" shall be sponsored and conducted <br /> by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be in Redwood Shores. The course <br /> will consist of Redwood Shores Parkway, Shearwater Parkway, Marine Parkway, <br /> and Twin Dolphin Drive. See attached map. <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The "Fifth Annual Turkey Trot" shall be conducted on Sunday, <br /> November 17, 1996, from 5:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., including setup and cleanup. <br /> The course will be completely cleared by 11:00 A.M. <br /> <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the "Fifth Annual Turkey Trot" taking place in the <br /> public right of way shall occur in a.manner and shall be limited to that area <br /> designated by the Chief of Police.
