_ DES:dj~- 10/01/96 (060/40) <br /> 0'~ I G I N A L - 10/21/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12936 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER FOR <br /> THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY <br /> MEDIATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center ("PCRC"), a <br /> non-profit corporation of the State of California, presently <br /> operates the Redwood City Community Mediation Program, a <br /> community boards program, the purpose of which is to improve <br /> neighborhood and community communication, in furtherance of the <br /> public order, health and welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PCRC represents that it is qualified and <br /> experienced to perform the aforesaid conflict resolution services <br /> <br /> required for said Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for the Provision <br /> of Community Mediation Services", by and between the City of <br /> Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> and Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, for the performance of <br /> the above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br /> and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br /> agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 12936 <br /> <br /> <br />
