O R I G I N A L 9/23/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12926 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR FIRE SAFETY REPAIRS PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (BETHSAIDA FAMILY LIVING HOME) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethsaida Family Living Home ("Contractor") provides long <br />term transitional housing and training for homeless families and families at-risk of <br />becoming homeless in the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Ten Thousand Two Hundred Ninety <br />Dollars ($10,290.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br /> to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Fire Safety Repairs <br /> Program (Bethsaida Family Living Home)," (form dated 09/06/96), by and <br /> <br /> <br />
