0 R I G I N A L _ 9/23/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12923 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing ("Contractor") <br />conducts a fair housing counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City (the "Program"); and <br /> \ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty-four Thousand One Hundred <br />Seventy Dollars ($34,170.00) from its Community Development Block Grant <br />funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br /> to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Fair Housing Counseling <br /> Program (Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing)," (form dated 09/06/96), by <br /> <br /> <br />
