RESCii�VTi��i OF THE CITY C�iUNCtL OF TN� �I�Y �F REDWOC�� C1TY, CALlFORNIA, ADOPTING THE "REDWOOD CITY PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNiTY SERVICES PRELIMINARY NEEDS AS�ESSMENT" DATED JULY 2007 AND THE 1MPACT FEE PROJECT LIST WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public hearing held on September 10, 2007, the City Counc#[ of the City of Redwood City (City Council) irtroduced a Parks lmpact Fee Ordinance and a Quimby Act lmplementa#ion Ordinance. WHEREAS, according �o the introduced ordinanc�s, the implemer�tation of the programs established �ncler these ardinances wiEl be r�uided by � policy document o� fihe City Counci( to be known as �he fmpact Fee Project List. WHEREAS, the City engaged a consultant, MIG, to aid in the preparation and productian ot a parks assessment entitled, "Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Communi#y Services Preliminary Needs Assessment" dated July 2007 (Parks Needs Assessment). WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt an Impact Fee Project List based on the Parks Needs Assessment. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE ClTY 4F RE�WOOD CITY AS FQLLOWS: _ __ _ _ 1. The recitals set forth above are true ar�d carrect, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fu1(y set forth in their entirety. 2. That the "Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Preliminary Needs Assessment" dated July 2007, that was presented to the City Council at their meeting on September 10, 2Q47, ��vas filed and made available at the QfficP of the City Clerk, and 'sncorporated herein by this reference, is hereby adopted. 3. That the recommended list of park improvements, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated Merein, is hereby adopted and shali serve as the City's Impact Fes Project �ist. 4.
