STAFF REPORTS <br /> A. Request for Proposals (RFP) for Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, and Organic <br /> Materials Collection Services <br /> Staff contact: Brian Ponty, Director of Finance and Financial Planning 780-7048 <br /> bponty@ redwoodcity.org <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution approving the solid waste, recyclable materials, and organic <br /> materials collection services outlined in the South Bayside Waste Management <br /> Authority (sbwma)August 2, 2007 draft RFP for collection services; <br /> RESOLUTION COMMITTING TO THE SOUTH BAYSIDE WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> AUTHORITY (SBWMA) REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) PROCESS AND <br /> APPROVING THE SBWMA RECOMMENDED CORE SERVICE PACKAGE OFFER <br /> TO MANAGE CONTRACTOR SELECTION PROCESS <br /> 2. Approve the contract terms detailed in he SBWMA's August 2, 2007 draft <br /> uniform franchise agreement for solid waste, recyclable materials, and organic <br /> materials collection services; <br /> 3. Approve the scope of services in the SBWMA's August 2, 2008 draft RFP for <br /> the operation of the Shoreway Recycling and Disposal Center (SRDC); <br /> 4. Approve the contract terms in the SBWMA's August 2, 2007 draft agreement for <br /> the operation of the SRDC; and <br /> 5. Acknowledge receipt of the report on the proposed renovation and expansion of <br /> the SRDC. <br /> 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A.
