0 R I G I N A L 9/23/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12922 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM - YOUTH <br /> INTERVENTION <br /> <br /> (BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula ("Contractor") <br />conducts a life skills program (youth intervention) for residents of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Program"); and ', <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br /> to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Life Skills Program - <br /> Youth Intervention (Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula)," (form dated <br /> <br /> <br />
