9/23/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12920 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - <br /> SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> <br /> (MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County <br />("Contractor") conducts an emergency shelter program for single persons with <br />mental disabilities who reside in the City ~of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars <br />($15,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Emergency Shelter <br /> Program - Spring Street Shelter (Mental Health Association of San Mateo <br /> <br /> <br />
