<br />ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-340 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 1 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, <br />TO REZONE PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN <br />STREET PRECISE PLAN AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS <br />ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE <br />PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on July 10, 2007, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended to the City Council, the <br /> <br />rezoning of the properties located within the North Main Street Precise Plan Area, from <br /> <br />the existing Industrial Park-Vehicular Combining (IP-V) Zoning District (properties <br /> <br />identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 052-383-210; 052-383-380; 052-383-040; 052-383- <br /> <br />260; 052-383-250; 052-383-370) and General Commercial (CG) Zoning District <br /> <br />(properties identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 052-383-360; 052-383-350; 052-383- <br /> <br />340) as shown on Exhibit "A", to the Planned Community (P) Zoning District, as shown <br /> <br />on Exhibit "B" a map entitled" Existing and Proposed Zoning Map," both maps are <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br /> <br />Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly <br /> <br />noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed rezoning is in the <br /> <br />public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1.
