0 R I G I N A L 9/23/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12918 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT, INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. ("Contractor") conducts a <br /> <br />shared housing program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />"Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requ~ested financial assistance in order to <br /> <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-two Thousand Dollars <br />($22,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br /> <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Shared Housing <br /> <br /> Program (Human Investment Project, Inc.)," (form dated 09/06/96), by and <br /> <br /> <br />
