~ 0 R I G I N A L 9/16/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12899 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR DEMOLITION OF TWO <br /> BUILDINGS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> (3486 ROLISON ROAD AND 1181 HAVEN STREET) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> the demolition of two Buildings located at 3486 Rolison Road and 1181 Haven <br /> Street, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one (1) bid was received for the <br /> performance of said work and filed with the Department of Community <br /> Development, Housing and Redevelopment Division; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Covey Trucking Co., of San Mateo, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept said <br /> bid of Covey Trucking Co.; <br /> <br /> NOW,THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Covey Trucking Co., in the amount of Nineteen <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-three and No/100 Dollars ($19,873), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August 19, 1996, for <br />the demolition of two buildings located at 3486 Rolison Road and 1181 Haven <br />Street, in the City of Redwood City, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />G:~shared~Redwood\Council~eso <br />FXS:rg <br />08/20/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
