-- 0 R D I N A N C E ~ 9/16/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12893 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION OF FREEWAY INTERCHANGE <br /> IMPROVEMENTS AFFECTING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY IN THE VICINITY OF THE BRITTAN AVENUE- <br /> STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 101 INTERCHANGE IN THE CITY OF <br /> SAN CARLOS, CALIFORNIA AND MODIFYING AND AMENDING <br /> CERTAIN PRIOR AGREEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of California ("State") and the County of San Mateo <br />("County") entered into a Freeway Agreement dated June 1, 1943 (the <br />"State/County 6/1/43 Agreement") relating to that portion of State Highway <br />Route 101 (formerly, Route 68) between the Cities of San Mateo and Redwood <br />City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State and County entered into a Supplemental Freeway <br />Agreement dated August 5, 1952 (the "State/County 8/5/52 Supplemental <br />Agreement"), relating to that portion of State Highway Route 101 (formerly, route <br />68) between 0.2 kilometer (0.1 mile) south of East 16th Avenue, in the City of <br />San Mateo, and the north city limits of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City subsequently annexed certain <br />areas including portions of the aforesaid freeway subject to the provisions of the <br />State/County 8/5/52 Supplemental Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State and the City of Redwood City entered into a <br />Freeway Agreement dated February 9, 1981 (the "State/City 2/9/81 Agreement") <br />relating to that portion of State Highway Route 101 from 0.6 kilometer (0.4 miles) <br /> <br /> <br />
