ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12882 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit agency <br />that provides a partnership between several local school districts, health and human services <br />organizations, the County of San Mateo, and local community volunteers who are dedicated to <br />helping young people make healthy life choices; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1996 and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Teen <br /> Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County a private, non-profit agency the sum of Seven <br /> Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($7,000); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Teen Pregnancy <br /> Coalition of San Mateo County has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br /> of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOO CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br /> and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
