ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12880 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Sor Juana Ines <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sor Juana Ines is a private, non-profit agency that provides individual <br />counseling assistance for women and their children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sor Juana Ines, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting <br />its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Sor <br />Juana Ines a private, non-profit agency the sum of Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars <br />($5,000); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the $or Juana Ines has <br />been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the <br />same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOO~ CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Sor Juana Ines a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood C y. <br /> <br /> <br />
