0 R I G I N A L (08/26/96) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12876 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Salvation Army (Emergency Assistance Program) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Salvation Army (Emergency Assistance Program) is a private, non-profit <br />agency that provides basic human necessities and personal counseling; and <br /> WHEREAS, Salvation Army (Emergency Assistance Program), has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1996 and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Salvation Army (Emergency Assistance Program) a private, non-profit agency the sum of <br />Twelve Thousand One Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($12,100); and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Salvation Army <br /> (Emergency Assistance Program) has been presented to this council and it is the intention and <br /> <br /> desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26~96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Salvation Army (Emergency Assistance Program) a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
