0 R I G I N A L (08/26/96) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12872 <br /> <br /> Reaolutlon Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Kainoa Home and Training Center for the Developmentally <br /> Disabled <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled is a <br />private, non-profit agency that provides services to adc!ts with developmental disabilities to <br />maximize their potential as active, contributing members of their community; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled, has <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br /> Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled a private, non-profit agency <br /> the sum of Three Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($3,000); and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Kainos Home and <br /> Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled has been presented to this council and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled a copy of which <br /> agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
