O R I G T N A L (08/26~96) <br /> RESOLUTION NO· 12867 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Emergency Hunger Fund <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund is a private, non-profit agency that provides <br />assistance with emergency short term help to individuals in the community, which includes <br />food, clothing, shelter and gasoline; and <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June 30, <br />1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br /> Emergency Hunger Fund a private, non-profit agency the sum of Thirteen Thousand and No/100 <br /> Dollars ($13,000) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Emergency Hunger <br /> Fund has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOO CFI'Y, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26~96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Emergency Hunger Fund a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
