There are three components to the <br />program: <br />1) Food Security and Healthy Food. MOW will deliver hot, nutritious meals to program <br />participants 252 days per year, with additional meals provided for holidays and weekend <br />meals to eligible recipients. <br />2) Safety Check. The daily safety and wellness check provided by the delivery personnel, is <br />vital to the safety and well-being of the participants. It has proven to be a literal life-saver on <br />many occasions every year! <br />3) Assessment and Referral. Each participant is visited in their homes shortly after they begin <br />receiving meals and then re -assessed every six months.
